PCH Manufacturing is one of the local organisations that are sponsoring the fixtures lists for the next two seasons which are sent to over 5,000 junior footballers and their parents throughout Plymouth and Devon.
The DJM was founded in 1904 and now boasts more than 300 teams of boys and girls playing in 24 divisions in league and cup competitions and mini-soccer. Youth facilities have been improved thanks to the work of dedicated volunteers, league officers and the executive committee.
The league has seen some fantastic footballers who have gone on to have successful football careers.
As well as the fixture list, PCH Manufacturing are also helping to sponsor the new app CSP UK Pitch Finder which has the location of every pitch in the league – something that can be frustrating taking their children to football – often to some very obscure pitches.
Head of Manufacturing Louise Turner said: “This is really positive for us and the league and give us an opportunity to help out grassroots football for the thousands of junior footballers across the city. It’s a great organisation to be involved with and has shaped Saturdays and Sundays for parents and children for over a hundred years – giving children the opportunity to play a sport they love and keep fit and healthy at the same time!”
