A team representing PCH Manufacturing took part in this Sunday’s Santa Fun Run to raise money for our nominated charity Jeremiah’s Journey.
Over a thousand Santa’s lined up outside Drake Circus creating a sea of red and white as far as the eye could see on Sunday. This was the biggest year yet, as a team representing PCH Manufacturing to raise money for our charity of the year Jeremiah’s Journey.
The event was organised by the Rotary Club of Saltram and the team from PCH Manufacturing managed to complete the 4km route and earn a well-deserved mince pie at the finish line.
Jay Vickers, Paul Llewellyn, Danni Houston, Fliss Gaskell, Leanne Eastwood, Paula Williams, Natasha Kirkham and Adam Godiff made up the team. Jay said: “We’ve been raising money all year for Jeremiah’s Journey and everyone at PCH and PCH Manufacturing have really got behind the fundraising efforts.
“We want to do what we can to support Jeremiah’s as it’s such a fantastic cause doing great work across the city for children, teenagers, parents and professionals. The money that we raise will hopefully be put towards providing high quality support for children who have experienced or are anticipating the death of someone close to them.
“The Santa fun Run is a great, positive way to spread the message and we all had to prepare in our individual ways – Danni has spent the last week working on her lunges around the office!”
